James Donald "Duck" Glover, 63, of Morgans Chapel Community died Monday, Aug. 24, 1998, at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton in Birmingham. The funeral Aug. 26, 1998, at New Horizon Memorial Chapel with burial at Bryan Cemetery in Dora. The Revs. Teddy James and James Aycox officiated. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home directed.

He was a member of Bryan Independent Church.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tim Glover.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ann Glover of Morgans Chapel Community; daughter, Melinda and her husband, Gary Long of Morgans Chapel; sister, Mildred and her husband, Deward Stewart of Dora; brother, Fred and his wife, Imy Glover of Morgans Chapel; two grandchildren, Anthony Long and Jon Long, both of Morgans Chapel; and several nieces and nephews.
