Evelyn is survived by her three children; Kay (Roger) Lalor of Houston, TX, Dean Fowler of Fort Dodge, Deborah Crabtree of Temple, TX, and a son-in-law, Gary Carlson of Fort Dodge; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy on May 28, 2013, her daughter-in-law, Regina Fowler on January 30, 2014, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Evelyn M. Young, the daughter of Robert and Freda (Drescher) Young was born March 28, 1924. On November 19, 1941, Evelyn married LeRoy Fowler in Tenny, MN. Beginning in 1946, LeRoy and Evelyn made their home in Fort Dodge. Evelyn was employed by Heartland Communication until her retirement in 2000. Evelyn was avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Twins. But her real enjoyment was the company of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Evelyn was a longtime member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
