Her family moved to Shoreham, VT in 1927 where she would meet and marry Don J. Peltier on September 26, 1942 at the St. Genevieve Church. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary there eleven years ago. Don survives the love of his life after seventy one years of marriage.
Madeleine was preceded in death by their two sons Raymond D. Peltier in 1982 in Fremont, OH and James D. Peltier in 2005 in Vienna, WV, her parents and siblings, Simone Parent, Ollivette O'Brien, John Berard, Rene' Berard and baby brother Henry, brother in law Paul Parent, Paul Rivers and Bill O'Brien.
Madeleine had worked hand and hand with her husband in his business, as his business manager for more than twenty seven years before their retirement and move to Vincent, OH. They moved many times during their marrage, each time to grow the business.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Little Hocking.
