A lifelong resident of Providence, he was a son of the late Savino and Lucia (DiNunzio) Marfeo.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Joseph Marfeo of Warwick and Albert Baccare of Providence; three daughters, Lucia Adamonis and Dawn Marfeo, both of Warwick, and Gina Marfeo of Cranston.
Also survived by a sister, Mary Russo of Warwick; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Paul Marfeo and brother of the late William "Willie", Rudolph, Savino, Frankie, Nickie, Thomas and Dempsey Marfeo and Rose DelPonte.
The funeral was held Saturday from the B. Maceroni & Sons Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial followed in St. Ann Cemetery.
