Leslie "June Bug" Provence, Jr was born November 5, 1948 in Wright City, OK the son of Leslie Provence and Louise (Dickerson) Provence and lived most of his life around the Rufe area.
He married the love of his life, Brookie (Cogburn) Provence on May 6, 1977. June Bug was a hard worker and enjoyed working on equipment, playing with his grandchildren, hunting and fishing. He was always joking and kidding with his family and friends. June Bug thought his grandchildren hung the moon. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #483 in Wright City, OK.
June Bug is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Jimmy Provence, Tommy Joe Provence and Rickey Provence.
Survivors include: the love of his life, Brookie Provence, daughter, Candice Leslie Bruce & husband Justin of Sobol, OK, sons: Clint Dane Provence of Spencerville, OK and Jeremy Clay Provence of Sobol, OK; brothers: Hardin Provence of Fort Towson, OK, L.C. Provence of Sobol, OK, Arley Provence of Rufe, OK, and Rocky Provence of Tom, OK; six grandchildren: Sarah Provence, Lee Provence, Robert Blackwell, Jorja Bruce, Jagger Bruce and Allysa Oleson; a great grandchild, Adrian Perry along with a host of other family and friends.
