Lillie K. Allen of Flushing, Michigan, age 87, died Saturday, November 22, 2014, at McLaren-Flint.
Lillie Doyal was born in Selma, Alabama on April 12, 1927, the daughter of Samuel Doyal and Addie Jo (Byrd) Doyal. She married Robert M. Allen in Trenton, Georgia on July 15, 1944.
Lillie Kate Allen was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Ladies Auxiliary to the American Legion Post 64. She enjoyed playing Bingo, crocheting, sewing and was an awesome cook.
Lillie was survived by husband, Robert M. Allen; five children, Robert Allen II and wife Sandy, Gary Allen and fiancee Dee, Daniel Allen and wife Scarlett, Beverley and David, Scott Allen and wife Rhonda; 14 grandchildren, Tami, Cindy, Jamie, Robert III, Travis, Cortney, Michael, Daniel II, Noah, Angelia, Ellisa, William II, Olivia, and Marisa; several great-grandchildren; four sisters, Georgia, Addie, Evelyn and Ada; three brothers, Sam, Frank and Henry.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Naomi and Bobbie Jean; and granddaughter, Rochelle.
