"Muscatine Journal", Muscatine, Iowa, April 23, 1958 MUSCATINE. Ia. - MRS. EUNICE GRITTON, 63, of 185 Sherman St., died Tuesday in Bellevue Hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held Thursday in the George M. Wittich Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Gritton, the former Eunice Matthews, was born (18 March 1895) in Joy, Ill.
Survivors include her husband. Lewis; three sons, Dr. Charlie Gritton, Henderson, Ky., Paul, Ft. Dodge, and Robert E., Muscatine; four daughters, Mrs. E. L. Elliott, Mrs. Carl Irwin, Mrs. Vernon Webb, and Mrs. Clifford Hintermeister, Muscatine; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Diehl, New Boston, and 16 grandchildren.

Funeral Rites for MRS. EUNICE GRITTON were conducted at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Goebel, pastor of the First Christian church, officiated. Mrs. Robert Goebel was vocalist and Mrs. M. D. Jones, organist. Serving as flower attendants were Mrs. Clifford Hayes. Mrs. Richard Brown and Mrs. Howard Mathes. Casket bearers included John Elliott, Lawrence Rogers, Ernest Moore, DeWayne Storms. Clifford Hayes and Floyd Moore.
Burial was at Greenwood cemetery.
