Raymond S. Watts, 69, passed away at 1:35 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Raymond was born in Vincennes on January 15, 1945 the son of Manuel Sylvester and Mary (Leehy) Watts. He married Catherine Cannon on November 13, 1966 and she survives.
Raymond was of the Baptist faith. He loved cars and working on them. He loved his children and grandchildren and would do anything for anyone.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Watts of Vincennes; daughters, Michelle Quinton and her husband Stephen of Oran, MO, Tammy Watts of Vincennes; son, Raymond L. Watts of Vincennes; brother, John Watts and his wife Deb of Vincennes; sisters, Vonda Blessinger and her husband Jib of Vincennes, Joann Watts of Vincennes; step-sister, Phyllis Deisher of Vincennes, step-brother, Bud Crouch of Vincennes; grandchildren, Sarah Eisenhut, Ian Eisenhut, Luke Lewis, Helen Schaller, Nathan Watts, Braxton Watts and Payton Watts. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, Helen Watts, step-brother’s Dave Crouch and Jack Saucerman and step-sister, Georgia Hedge.
Friends may visit with Raymonds family on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tim Tessmer officiating.
