He was born in Latimore Twp. the son of the late Milton and Flora (Davis) Prosser. He was the husband of Alberta (Yeagy) Prosser.
Mr. Prosser was a retired steel worker for Harsco Corporation in Harrisburg. He was a member of the Chestnut Grove Lutheran Church and the Citizens Hose Company No. 1.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son: Lester Prosser of Bowie, Md.; three daughters: Lenetta Yeagy of Dillsburg; Mary Albright of Hanover; and Bonita Sprout of West Germany, eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother: Harry A. Prosser of Gardners, and three sisters: Florence Bream of Gardners; Helen Prosser of York Springs; and Blanche Ellison of Elma, Wash.
Funeral services held Saturday, from the Cocklin Funeral Home, Dillsburg, with the Rev. Stewart F. Bingman officiating. Interment in the Dillsburg Cemetery.
