1982 - 2006
Caleb was born on August 30, 1982 in Bakersfield, to Randy and Debby Thompson. On April 14, 2006 he was called home to live eternally. He attended North Beardsley, Norris, and North High School where he graduated from in the year 2000. He is preceded in death by his mother, Debby and grandfather, Horace Trammell. He is survived by his father, Randy Thompson; sister and brother-in- law, Tiffani and Darin Lewis; sister and brother-in-law, Amye and Nathan Welch; nieces and nephews Shani, Andrew, Hannah, and Joshua Lewis and Audrey Welch; grandmother, Geneva Trammell and grandparents, Charles and Erma Thompson all of Bakersfield. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Anyone who knew Caleb knew that he was a very special person. From the moment he was born he was always on the go, looking for fun, and had crazy ways of making people laugh. He had lived through a lot of trials in his life especially during the last few years when we learned that he had the same heart condition that his mom had endured for over twelve years. He didn't let that get him down though. He continued living his life to the fullest and just made jokes about his new "ticker." So much will be missed from Caleb. His smile, laugh, hugs, jokes, guitar playing, "Eugene," and his great big loving heart. Goodbye for now, we'll see you soon on the other side. Visitation on Thursday April 20, 2006, from 4 to 8 p.m., Hillcrest Mortuary; Graveside service on Friday April 21, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. Hillcrest Memorial Park.
