Henry J. Drummond, 91, of rural Edelstein died Sunday, June 9, 1996, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.
Born Jan. 18, 1905, in Missouri to George William and Mary Frances Thomas Drummond, he married Grace Phipps in April 1927. She died Jan. 13, 1979. One son, Dave, also preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Bonnie Drummond of Chillicothe; one brother, Herman of Kansas City, Kan.; and one sister, Rosebelle Poe of Kearney, Mo.
He worked in shipping at Caterpillar Inc. for 31 years, retiring in 1967.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
