WARD, Pearl age 73, of Middletown, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born October 8, 1938 in Speedwell, Tennessee, but lived in Middletown most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of God's Lighthouse Church. She loved her family and her church. The family extends special thanks and appreciation to the staff of Hospice for their loving and professional care of their mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert McHenrry and Renee (North) Tolliver; her husband, Floyd Ellison in 1959; one son, Mike Weaver; and one daughter Thelma Fay Ellison. She is survived by two sons, Earl F. Ellison and wife Wendy J. and Willie Woodby and wife Dee; her granddaughter and caregiver, Miracle Alvarado and husband Jose; other grandchildren, Marie Picklesimer, Kayla Saucedo, Rodney Napier, Adrian Broughton, Devin Broughton, Lacey Cooper, and many others too numerous to name; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; special sister, Mae Woodby and several other brothers and sisters; special nephew, Fred Massengill and wife Dollie; and several nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation will be Monday, February 6, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at God's Lighthouse Church, 3013 Seneca Street, Middletown, Ohio 45044, followed by services at the church at 12:00 noon with Pastor George Reynolds officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
