Mrs. Rosa (Rosie) Allen, 82, lost her battle with cancer after a hard fought fight on December 7, 2014. Rosie was born on May 27, 1932 in Lawrence County, Georgia and moved to Toledo in 1952 with her husband. She retired from Laomi's Dress Shop. One of the greatest joys of her life was her grandson, Nicholas Jackson. They would often get together and pray for each other, especially during the time of her illness.

Rosie will long be remembered by many, but her love and devotion will be forever cherished by her faithful and devoted husband of 66 years: Robert; daughter, Angela Lynn Allen-Jackson; step-daughter, Vencenteena Brown (Willie Jr.); five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Nealie Youngblood; special caregiver and niece, Sylvia Sears; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
