1st marriage to Johann Friedrich Theodor Springborn 1/6/1854 at Strasen, Germany resulted in a child Heinrich Carl Christian Springborn also born at Strasen. Minnie's 2nd marriage to John Freiheit was 11/6/1857 at Godendorf.

**Edit** Dec 2022: I can't make sense of it yet but with the help of DNA testing it's been determined that Minnie's son Heinrich "Charles" Springborn and a sister Fredericka came to America with their dad in 1864, along with an illegitimate son Frederick that John Springborn appears to have raised - this was 3 years before John and Minnie Freiheit came to Manistee County with their family. I doubt we'll ever know how she ends up separated from her husband and children but DNA doesn't lie. Her probate record only lists the Freiheit children, in spite of 3 Springborn children surviving her as well.

There was a daughter Anna Freiheit, age 6 months on the ship log from 9/1867. She doesn't appear in the 1870 census so is therefore assumed deceased by then.
