Donald is survived by his wife, Phyllis of 58 years, children, Cindy, Donald Jr., Susan and her husband, and James and his wife, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.
Donald graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1955, entered the United States Air Force and served 22 years.
In 1977 he was employed by Sandia National Lab and retired in 2008.
A Rosary will be recited on December 18, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2532 Vermont Street NE, Albuquerque, NM, followed by a Mass at 8:30 a.m. Internment will take place at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
