Carolyn S. Leonard, 62, of Ottumwa, died at 9:40 am December 9, 2014, at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
She was born June 12, 1952, in Ottumwa to William and Willadene Tate Hicks. She married Terry Leonard on July 3, 1970.
A 1970 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Carolyn had worked for Target for 30 years, retiring in 2013.
Surviving are her husband, Terry; two sons, Bill(Robin)Leonard and Matt(Christy)Leonard, both of Ottumwa; four grandchildren, Hunter, Zachary, Garrett and Avery; her mother, Willadene Hicks of Ottumwa; two sisters, Terrie Lynn(Greg)Howard of Kirksville, Missouri, and Karen(Jerald)Harter of Ottumwa; a brother, Chris(Jane)Kicks of Ottumwa; six nieces and nephews. Jacob, Katie, Chelsea, Christopher, Stephanie and Nathan; two great-nieces, Reese and Miley.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Hicks; and her sister, Julie Hicks.
Her body has been cremated.
Memorial services will be 1 pm Friday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Reeves officiating. The family will be present two hours prior to the service.
