Randi was born in Elk City, OK on Friday, June 23, 1944. Her first job was at age 5 picking cotton with her mother, brothers and sisters. She moved to Norman, OK beginning her freshman year of highschool and graduated from Central High School then in North Oklahoma City. She taught dancing in the early 60's at the Fred Astaire and Arthur Murray studios. She was a bartender for several years at the Governors Club, the Onyx and the Bandito Club. In March of 1970 she went to work for Western Electric where she met her husband Woody. She retired after 30 years of service, from the same company now called Lucent in March of 2000. Randi had many interests golfing, reading, music and painting, flower arranging and cooking. If she did not know how to do something she would take classes and learn. She loved doing things with her hands and she liked to include her daughter and sisters in her hobbies. She especially loved going to garage sales and really delighted in finding a good bargain and sharing it. Randi was a loving wife to her husband Woody and a wonderful mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend according to all those who knew her. She had a great sense of humor and loved a good joke.
She was preceded in death by her father Guy Clifford Haden of Elk City, OK, mother Ora Carver Haden of Elk City, OK, sister Wilda Y. Horner of Norman, OK and all her aunts and uncles.
Survivors include her husband Bobby G. (Woody) Woodard, daughter Shelley D. Konieczny of Norman, step-daughter Tammy O'Donnell and family of Chicago, IL, step-son Anthony Todd Woodard & Wife Le of Yukon, OK, beloved grandson Alexander Haden Konieczny of Norman, brothers Joe Allen Haden & wife Delores of Tula Rosa, NM, Jim D. Haden and wife Patsy of Mangum, OK, Don W. Haden of Enid, OK and sister Delores Haden of Oklahoma City, OK. Also a special nephew Robert G. Horner and wife Angela of Norman, nieces Jeannie D. Fortney and husband Gene of Austin, TX, Trisha J. Dudley and husband Jim (J. D.) of Norman, OK, Sue A. Kuder and husband Dennis of Louisburg, KS, Traci Welsh and husband Johnny of Baltimore, MD, Terri Munch of Riverdale, NY, and many more family members and dear friends.
