Mrs. J. H. Thomassen died at her home a half mile west of Pella at six o’clock Friday morning, December 8th. Her death followed a long period of ill health, which finally affected her heart. Her age was 50 years, 10 months and 7 days. She is survived by her husband, one brother, Nick Middelcope of Tipton, Okla., and three sisters, Mrs. A. Waechter, Mrs. L. E. Renaud, Mrs. A. P. Hasselman, and Miss Barbara Middelkoop, all of Pella. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Second Reformed church at 1:30. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery.
