Jelle De Vries died at his home in Pella at 5:00 a. m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 1918, after a considerable period of ill health. Mr. DeVries was for many years a jeweler in Pella, turning the business over in later years to his son Lou, who sold it out about a year ago. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters. Funeral arrangements cannot be anrounced at this time.
