Margaret Anna (Wetzel) Walker, 94, passed peacefully Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Hanover Hall Nursing Center, Hanover. She was the wife of Raymond G. Wetzel who died in 1972 and Maurice Walker who died in 1990. Born December 24, 1911, in York, she was the daughter of the late John Adam and Harriet Isabell (Knaub) Pifer. Mrs. Walker was a member of St. Paul Dub's Lutheran Church, Hanover. She was employed as a seamstress for many years in the Hanover area. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Mary I. Morelock, Spring Grove, Betty L. Lease, York, and Richard G. and Terry L. Wetzel, both of Hanover; stepdaughter, Connie Hurt, Westminster, MD; four grandchildren, Darrell Morelock, Cory Wetzel, Travis Wetzel, and Kelly Keagy; five great-grandchildren; and two great-greatgrandchildren. Funeral Wednesday at St. Paul Dub's Lutheran Church, Hanover, Rev. Dr. William H. Beck officiating. Burial in St. Paul Dubs Church Cemetery. [York Daily Record]
