Dr. Charles "Chuck" Peek, born June 15, 1936 was called home to heaven on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at his home in Austin, Texas. Chuck was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years Karlene. He is survived by his children David Peek, Mark Peek and his wife Lisa, Cindy and her husband David Veit, Jeff Peek and his wife Marsha, and Kristi and her husband Tim Field. Chuck is also survived by his 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and his sister Beverly.
Since his retirement from IBM after 30 years, he spent his energy and time ministering to a wide variety of people including tutoring Chinese students, serving the homeless, and comforting the elderly.
Celebration Services to be held at Grace Covenant Church, 9431 Jollyville Rd, Austin, TX 78759 on Thursday December 11th at 10am with burial to be at Old Corn Hill Cemetery in Jarrell, TX.
