Frances Jewel (Duke) Shrader was born to James Edward Duke and Ethel Alcona Duke (Carter) on October 17, 1929 in Faxon, OK, and entered eternal life on December 7, 2014. Frances attended Dundee High School in McMann, OK where she loved to play basketball and graduated in 1947. On August 20, 1947 she married Sonny Shrader in Ardmore, OK. Frances had many hobbies including antique shopping, and gardening. The highlights of her life were camping and fishing with her husband Sonny and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She taught them all about the importance of honesty, and that two wrongs don’t make a right.

8 Grandchildren: Michelle Dowd, Craig Howard, Darren Howard, Danny Caldwell, Aaron Shrader, Derek Shrader, Jonathan Osborne, and Sheree Shrader.

Funeral services for Mrs. Shrader are scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 2:00p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Elmore City, OK with Rev. Don Russell officiating. Interment will be in the Elmore City Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
