Lois Judd Stromberg

LAYTON – Lois Judd Stromberg, 93, passed peacefully away Monday, December 8, 2014 in Layton where she had resided since 1949.

Mom was born June 14, 1921 in Hoytsville, Utah the daughter of Frank Melvin and Sarah Edna Vernon Judd.

Mom married her sweetheart Edwin L. Stromberg on May 3, 1940 in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served diligently in many callings.

Mom loved golf, gardening and being with her family and friends. She and Dad traveled extensively before his death. She had a quiet sense of humor and endured her trials with a sense of grace and dignity.

Surviving are her children, Brent (Mary Beth), Greg (Mike), Janet (Don) Lubeck, Connie (Dale) May, 11 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren, brothers: Ken Judd, Rulon Judd and sister Dorothy Blonquist.

Mom was preceded in death by her husband, brothers, Vernon, Roy, Grant, Glen Judd, sisters, Gladys Wilde and Margaret Gunn.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
