Reba L. Murphy, 72, formerly of 1424 E. Marietta Ave. died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, 1993, at Morton Health Care Center in Morton.
Born June 25, 1921, in Kevil, Ky., to George B. and Ettie Duncan Moorehead, she married Clyde E. Murphy on Oct. 18, 1954, in Joliet. He died Sept. 12, 1989, in Peoria. Two brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia J. Carroll of Pekin and Mrs. James (Barbara A.) Hajnal of Peoria; two brothers, Robert Moorehead and J.D. Moorehead, both of Kevil; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was an elevator operator at the Jefferson Building in Peoria.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Peoria.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
