Henry (Hank) Dwight Edgerton Jr. passed away on Wednesday April 12, 2006 at the Epworth Retirement Center. Henry was born August 27th 1918, in Allegan, Michigan. When he was three years old his family relocated to Detroit, Michigan. He fought in Germany and Alaska during World War II. During the war he met and married Betty Anne Watkins in 1944. When he returned from the war he worked for Michigan Bell for 39yrs and retired in 1983. He is survived by his wife, Betty Edgerton and their two children; daughter Susan Edgerton of Edmond, Oklahoma, son Ron Edgerton and his wife Eloisa of Cincinnati, Ohio and their two daughters Teresa and Leslie of Columbus, Ohio. Services will be held at Matthews Funeral Home on Kelly Road in Edmond, on Saturday April 15, 2006 at 3:30pm viewing will be held Friday night April 14th, after 7:30 and Saturday morning April 15th starting at eight am.
