Born on October 25, 1959 in DuBois, he was the son of the late Darrell and Dorothy Edwards Holt.
He made his home with Jackie Hepburn.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. Carl worked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Woodland.
He enjoyed gold mining, hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, bowling and spending time outdoors.
He is also survived by his daughter Amy Holt of Reading, Pa; three sons: Brian Holt of the state of Washington, James and Matthew Holt both of Brockway; four sisters: Linda (Bernie) McFall; Barbara Holt and Jean Holt all of Brockway; Debbie (Philip)Egolf of DuBois; two brothers: David (Dawn) Holt of Brockway and Raymond Holt of Rockton. He is also survived by 7 nephews, 7 nieces and several great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Wendy Fink.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, December 9 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 P.M. also at the funeral home with Rev. Victor Baxter officiating. Burial will follow in the Beechwoods Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the charity of the donors choice.
