Mr. G.F. Brown Dead.

On last Wednesday, Mr. F.M. Jacob received a telegram announcing the death of his son-in-law, Mr. George F. Brown, which occurred at a sanitarium in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday. Mr. Brown had been suffering from lung trouble for a number of years past, and about two weeks ago left Columbus for Dallas, having gone there in the hope that the equable climate would prove beneficial for him. The hope was a vain one, however, for, instead of improving, he was weakened by the journey and died a short time after Dallas had been reached.
Mr. Brown, who, at the time of his death was thirty-five years of age, was a native of Virginia, and came to Columbus about eight years ago as a civil engineer in the employ of Mr. Ludlow, who had in charge of the installation of the water and sewerage system. He met and fell in love with Miss Maud Jacob, the attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Jacob, whom he married in 1901. The union resulted in two children, who, together with their mother, survive him. Deceased is also survived by an aged mother, who lives in Martinsville, Va., and the body was taken there for interment.
