Dave was a professional horse trainer and a self-taught, highly-respected expert in the horse-racing industry. Both he and his wife loved horses and spent many years working together on and off the track.
David was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, LaVeta; sisters: Ramona Wayman Krober, Ruth Martin, Euseba Quinn, and Marlys Knapp; and brothers: Emory Andis, Emmett Andis, and Jim Andis.
He leaves behind step-granddaughter, Cheyenne Houska.
Memorial service: Saturday, May 29, at the Metroplex Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma City.
