He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella, in 1974. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Carl F. Roark, Mrs. Glenda Stein and Viola L. Sprout; two sons, Stanley and Earl W. Sprout; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
