Kenneth I. Sprout died August 19, 1972, of a heart attack at Kermit, Texas. He had moved from Gypsum, Kansas, to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in June and was employed by Reynolds and French in Tulsa.
He was a member of the Salina Elks lodge, the Gypsum Masonic lodge and the Scottish Rite and Isis Shrine of Salina.
Survivors included his wife, Geraldine; two daughters, Mrs. Neil Colle and Linda Sprout; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Sprout; three sisters, Mrs. Geneva Roark, Viola Sprout and Mrs. Glenda Stein; and two brothers, Stanley and Earl Sprout.
