Mr. Mills was a native of Washington County, but had made his home in Baldwin County for most of his life before moving to California five years ago. He was a veteran of the Air Force and a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Washington County.
Survivors include one son, Richard Beasley Mills of Milledgeville; his mother, Mrs. Susie McDuffie of Milledgeville; one sister, Mrs. Nina Bloodworth of Milledgeville; four brothers, Roy Lee Mills, Lamar Mills, J.W. Mills, and Paul Mills all of Milledgeville, and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Fannie Califf of Milledgeville.
Williams Memorial Chapel of Milledgeville was in charge of arrangements.
