Emily Viola RASOR was born in Gonzales Texas to Landon Shaw and Elizabeth E. (WOOD) RASOR 24 September 1889 (1899 per Death Certificate; however she was 11 years old in the 1910 census). She died in Williamson County Texas 18 September 1934 and is buried in Pond Springs Cemetery with her newborn twins who had died 31 December 1932 & 4 January 1933. Emily died in childbirth with her seventh known child.

Not much can be found about Emily, Will, or their family. Between 1920 and 1930, she married William C. "Will" RICHARDS. Will was born ca 1891 in either Virginia or Mississippi. One of their children, Fleetwood RICHARDS, can be found in the 1940 census in the Trinity Lutheran Home (home For Aged And Orphans) in Round Rock Texas. His sister Elizabeth may be there also, as "Ellen Richards".

ii. William RICHARDS, born in Texas ca. 1923.

iii. Fleetwood RICHARDS, born in Texas ca. 1927.

iv. Elizabeth RICHARDS, born in Texas ca. 1930.

v. Vernon RICHARDS, twin of Lavern, born and died in Williamson County Texas 31 December 1932, buried in Pond Springs Cemetery.

vi. Lavern RICHARDS, twin of Vernon, born in Williamson County Texas 31 December 1932, died 4 January 1933, buried in Pond Springs Cemetery.
