MRS. WILLIE STRUVE
Mrs. Willie (Margaret A.) Struve, 51, 307 Institute, died at 7:45 a.m. Monday in Porter Memorial hospital after an illness of one year.
Born in Ontario, Canada April 2, 1914, the daughter of Rex. E. and Nellie (Fisher) Arnold, she was a resident of Valparaiso since 1942. On Feb. 27, 1934 in Valparaiso, she was married to Willie Struve, who survives.
Mrs. Struve attended the Boone Grove schools and later worked part time at the Philly Manufacturing company. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Valparaiso and was active in the church guild.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Sam (Louise) Blair, RFD 2, and Miss Carol Struve, at home; one son, Charles of Valparaiso; six sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Schattle and Mrs. Clyde Haines, both of Miami, Fla., Mrs. Joseph Hessling and Mrs. David Witkowski, both of Kouts, Mrs. Grace Sommerville, LaCrosse and mrs. John Webb, Valparaiso.
Also, four brothers, Rex and Robert Arnold, both of Kouts, Marion and Fred, both of Valparaiso; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Wetmore Funeral home with the Rev. Raymond King officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
