Larry Dale Rudd Larry Dale Rudd, age 56, a resident of Leon County, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Margaret Dozier Hospice House. Larry was a retired electrician with the Leon County School Board and a member of White Primitive Baptist Church in Woodville Florida. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Reeves Rudd; three children, Jennifer Buffington (Tony) of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Susan Lombardi (Joseph) and son John A. Rudd, both of Tallahassee; and God-Daughter Mary Lillian Ford, Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Charlotte and Shelby Buffington, Eve and Joseph Lombardi, and future grandson, Logan Dale Rudd; four sisters, Peggy Boyette and Teresa Rudd of Hosford, Azie Moore (Chris) of Dallas, Texas; and Cindy Ransom (David) of Tacoma, Washington; his extended Alabama family, as well as numerous friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Mable Rudd, and two brothers, Andy and Dirk Rudd. Larry will be greatly missed by his community because of his love of people and aiding those in need. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lighthouse Children's Home, 7771 Mahan Drive, Tallahassee, Florida, 32309-1417; or Faith Radio, WFRF, P.O. Box 181000, Tallahassee, Florida, 32318. Services will be held at Southwood Baptist Church, 5177 Capital Circle S.W., Tallahassee on Tuesday, December 15th at 11 A.M. Family will receive friends at Beggs Funeral Home, Apalachee Parkway (850-942-2929), today, December 14th, from 6-8 P.M. and one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery on Springhill Road, Tallahassee.
