Served with brothers, Thomas & Alfred. Son of Abednego (Ben) Arp (or Earp) and Nancy Gray. His Aunt Nancy Earp married John Land.
Recruits were mustered at Loudon, TN on 10 Aug 1864 with men from Monroe Co., TN.
