She was born Dec. 14, 1922 to Virgel and Letha (McCoy) McDearmon.
She is survived by her sister, Anita Middleton; brother, Bill and Linda Philen; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins; one aunt; and special friend, Sue Cherry.
Preceding her in death are her mother and father; stepfather, W.J. Philen; husband, James Jones; and four brothers, Ray McDearmon, Glen McDearmon, Everett Philen and Rob Philen.
Funeral services will be at the Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger Friday, May 20, 2016. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. and services will be at 2 p.m. followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger.
