Laura H. Garrison, 81, of Tacoma, Washington, formerly of St. Joseph, MO., passed away on Feb. 23, 1996, at a Tacoma Health-care center.
Mrs. Garrison had been a nurse's aide at the St. Joseph State Hospital.
Born in King City, Mo., on Nov. 16, 1914, she had lived in St. Joseph for 45 years before moving to Tacoma in 1992.
Mrs. Garrison was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
In 1938, she married Leon Garrison in St. Joseph. He died in 1964.
Surviving: a son, Lonnie L. Garrison and daughter-in-law, Virginia Garrison, both of Tacoma, who assisted in her care.
