Born in Shenandoah, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Mary Ann (Melecki) Paruch.
Clara was a graduate of Shenandoah High School, a home maker, and assisted her husband “Major” at Curley’s Bar, Hilldale.
She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church, Plains.
She was preceded in death by her husband Matthew “Major” Yanushefski on July 9, 1989, brothers Walter and Joseph Paruch, and sister Dorothy Paruch.
Surviving are her son Matthew Yanushefski, Brooklyn, New York, daughter Denise Dubis and her husband Mark, Lakewood, Ohio, granddaughter Victoria Dubis, brother John Paruch, Shenandoah, and niece Diane Paruch.
Funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street Plains, PA 18705, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in SS. Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains. Interment will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hudson section of Plains.
Friends may call Friday morning from 8:15 am till the time of service.
