Matthew (Major) Yanushefski, 66, of 195 Chamberlain St., Hilldale section of Plains, died Sunday afternoon at his home. He was born in Hilldale, a son of the late Paul and Victoria Pytel Yanushefski, and was co-owner and operator of Curley's Bar & Grill, Hilldale, for the last 26 years. Mr. Yanushefski was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Hudson. He and his wife, the former Clara Paruch, celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on June 6, 1989. Surviving in addition to his wife, are a son, Matthew, New . York City; daughter, Denise, Vienna, Va.; brothers, Kazmer (Hank), Hilldale; Theodore, Dunellen, N.J.; nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 from the Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 S. Main St., Plains, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Hudson. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hudson. Friends may call Tuesday night from 7 to 9.
