HUNT, Julia T., age 86, of Dayton, departed this life on Friday, November 28, 2014.

She was born on September 21, 1928 to the union of the late, William and Hannah (Burns) Turley in Montgomery County, KY. Julia was a graduate of W.E.B. Dubois High School and Dayton Public School of Practical Nursing. She was employed as a LPN in several local hospitals; the longest being the V. A. Medical Center and Good Samaritan Hospital. Julia served Summit Christian Church in many areas until her health declined. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is also preceded in death by (2) sisters and her husband of 52 yrs., Clell C. Hunt. She leaves to cherish her memory; her children, Margaret Y., Van C. Sr., Gilbert (Patricia), Wendell, and Steve A. Sr.; (13) grandchildren, (23) great-grandchildren, (9) great, great-grandchildren; sister, Mae Nell (Gregg) Johnson of Winchester, KY; daughter-in-law, Anita Hunt; brother-in-law, Christopher M. Hunt of GA; sisters-in-law, Eldora Jones of Columbus, OH and Betty Hunt of Dayton, OH, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Dayton for their services. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon, THURSDAY, December 4, 2014 at SUMMIT CHRISTIAN CHURCH, 4021 Denlinger Rd., with Reverend Shelby Walker, officiating.
