Van Clifton Hunt Sr, age 71, transitioned into eternal life in Kettering, Ohio on Monday, June 29, 2020. Van was born on March 12, 1949 in Mount Sterling, KY. Van was raised in Dayton and graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in 1967. After high school Van began to work at General Motors- Delphi and after many years of service he retired. After retirement Van enjoyed spending quality time with his friends and family. Van was an artist at heart and had a special love for music, sports, art and enjoyed painting when he was able.

Van was a beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grand Father, Uncle, and friend. Van is preceded in death by his parents Clell and Julia Hunt and his Wife Yutonna S Hunt (Newkirk). He leaves to cherish his memory His Sons Van C. Hunt Jr, Jason Hunt and Daughter Lavina Lewis (Jeyre Lewis) grandchildren Drake Hunt, Camron Dillard and Jewel Lewis, Sister Margaret Y. Hunt Brothers Gilbert Hunt, Wendell Hunt and Steve Hunt, Sister-in-Law Cynthia Clay (Shelly Clay), Robyn Newkirk and Brother in-law Timothy Newkirk and many beloved nieces and nephews, and a host of dear family & friends.

He will forever be missed dearly but never forgotten...
