John D. Stewart, 73, of 2108 W. Millman died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1993, at his residence.
Born April 20, 1919, in Nicholas County, W.Va., to David and Lidia Ann Grose Stewart, he married Jean Thompson on April 30,1946, in Athens, Ohio. She died Nov. 21, 1964, in Peoria.
Surviving are four sons, Terry L. Sr. of Peoria, Robert S. of Denver, David and Jimmie.
He worked at Maple City Stamping Co. in Peoria for many years and was a World War II Army veteran.
Graveside services will be at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
