Richard E. Heiser, 75, of Peoria died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1992, at Proctor Hospital.

Born Jan. 26, 1917, in Eureka to Edward J. and Clara Reeser Heiser, he married Rose Allsup on Jan. 6, 1940, in Spring Bay. She survives.

Also surviving are two sisters, Ruth Stalter of Gibson City and Pauline Hill of Fort Worth, Texas. One brother preceded him in death.

He was a mechanic for 30 years at the Lincoln-Mercury dealership in Peoria, retiring in 1980.

He was a member of Joseph Robbins Masonic Lodge 930, AF&AM; Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Peoria; and Mohammed Temple, Shrine. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
