He worked as a stitcher for Etonic Shoe where he worked for over 25 years. He left there and went for to work for Bath Iron Works where he worked for about five years before retiring. Ted enjoyed camping and woodworking.
Ted is survived by his children, Susan Alexander and husband Kirk of Richmond, Allen Mitchell of Richmond, Dennis Mitchell of Mount Vernon and Laurie Boucher and husband John of Richmond; grandchildren, Alysia Alexander of Richmond, Kirk Alexander Jr. of Richmond, Allen Mitchell Jr. of Kansas, Jessica Mitchell of Texas and Robert Jolly of Kansas; and seven beautiful great-grandchildren. Ted is survived by his current companion of 27 years, Betty Lavallee of North Waterboro.
Ted was preceded in death by his wives, Arlene Berry Mitchell and Evelyn Robbins Mitchell; and parents, Theodore and Doris Holman Mitchell.
