Josephine Louise Farrington Donelson, 91, Kokomo, passed away at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, at Waterford Place Health Campus, Kokomo. She was born March 16, 1918, in Kokomo, to Walter Scott Farrington and Cora (Carter) Farrington. In 1946 in Kokomo, she married Ernest Everette Donelson, who preceded her in death in September 1966. She retired from General Motors in 1975 after 36 years of service. After retirement, she also worked for the LaMode Dress Shop and Hobson Cleaners in Kokomo. She was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Donelson Stewart, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; brother, Don and wife Betty Farrington, Kokomo; sisters, Carrie Graber, Kokomo, and Lavelle and husband Willie Lawman, Kokomo; three grandchildren, Loray Rafferty, Brent Knaus, and Jason Knaus; two sisters-in-law, Judy Farrington and Lynn Farrington; two brothers-in-law, Frank Donelson and Max Donelson; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Scott, Jim, Max, and Chuck; and three sisters, Mildred, Bernice, and Clotelle.
