Peggy Turner Chase died peacefully in her sleep on Friday.
She was daughter to the late Walter L. & Sallie Matthews Turner.
She was a nurse at Kingswood Nursing Home for many years. Peggy was a happy & playful person that loved her family more than anything. Her world was her husband, son, sisters, family & friends.
She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, brothers, Jack, Frank, Roy, & Coy Turner.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Douglas McArthur Chase of the home, son, Douglas Chase of Charlotte, sisters, Gladys Faulkner of Butner, Addie Batten of Wendell, Sally Posch of Raleigh, Linda Chalk of Raleigh, Elaine Barham (Julian) of Wendell, Brenda Narron (Jerry) of Raleigh, special nephews Ronnie Faulkner, Greg Batten, several nieces, nephews, special sisters, Trudy Paul & Peggy Price.
Flowers welcomed or memorials may be made to Baptist Tabernacle Church, 1599 NC 231 Hwy, Wendell, NC 27591
Funeral service 1 pm, Monday, Baptist Tabernacle Church with visitation from 11:30 am - 1 pm in the fellowship hall prior to the service and other times at the home of Elaine and Julian Barham. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
