Joan was born to Richard Leonard Anderson and Esther Olivia (Johnson) Anderson on May 10, 1926, at Nezperce, Lewis County, Idaho. She was the youngest of five children.

She graduated from Nezperce High School in 1944.

On March 31, 1944, she married the love of her life, Philip Ingram. Together they lived on the family farm and raised their three children.

Joan and Phil would travel to Quartzsite, Ariz., and spend their winters. She loved to travel and see new country.

She was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Nezperce. She also loved to attend senior citizen luncheons. It's hard not to smile when thinking about her wit, spirit and love of life. She enjoyed gardening, rock hounding, traveling, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors names omitted per findagrave policy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip; and son Richard; her parents; and her brothers and sisters.
