Emma Isabelle Sharp

Mrs. Emma Isabelle Sharp, wife of Joseph H. Sharp, of Juniata Gap, died at 6 o'clock yesterday morning after several months illness. Deceased was born in Claysburg Nov. 2, 1852 and was a daughter of Martin (sic-Nathan) and Anna Lafferty. Surviving are the husband and the following children: Mrs. Alexander Duck, Mrs. Cora Woodring, and Harry E., all of Altoona, Clarence H., Charles E., Roy C.,Daniel S., and James H., all of Juniata Gap. Two sisters, Mrs. Clara Moore of Whenwood, and Mrs. Idella Bressler of Nebraska and sixteen grandchildren survive. She was a member of the Juniata Gap Methodist Church from where the funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. Doloway and Rev. I. G. Snyder will conduct the services. Interment in Asbury Cemetery.
