Reggie joined the Greater Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Callahan, FL. He attended Hilliard Middle/Senior High School Hilliard, FL. He was employed by Sawyer Construction, B&B McCormick, and Wilkerson Construction.
Reggie loved the Florida Gators. The highlight of his life was when his son Reginald, Jr., was born. Reggie was a devoted and loving father; he and his son shared a special bond.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Missouri Bell Melton; father, Charles Mitchell; sister, Vernita Mitchell Cotton; brother, Ronnie L. Way.
He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
