Services for Vernita Mitchell Cotton will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Greater Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 45031 Historical Ln, Callahan, Rev. Charles E. Williams Jr., pastor. Public visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Vernita is survived by her children, Santos (Allyson), Onziah, Alya and Menole; other relatives and friends.
Interment will be in Callahan Cemetery. R.D. Sears Funeral Home, 518 Stevens St.
